My name is Jorge Luis Figueroa, I am a native of Aibonito, Puerto Rico. I am in my third and last year of my MFA candidacy in Acting at the California Institute of the Arts. I am a current non-union actor and I recently won the Grand Prize from the ArtChangeUS organization for a play I produced together with Bad Boy Sad Boy, a production company I co-founded. I received an HOLA Award in 2017 for Best Featured Actor and in 2015 for Outstanding Ensemble Cast. In 2015 I graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and in 2017 from Hunter College with concentrations in acting and film production. I am fluent in both Spanish (Native) and English. I aspire to be in, and produce, projects that challenge me as an actor and make me bolder in my choices each day. Not only have I worked (and keep working) on my craft, but I also understand the importance of being a smart business person who recognizes the significance of self-marketing and knows how to manage my time and finance in this ever-changing industry.
